Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website function correctly, remember your preferences, and (where consented) provide analytics. This policy explains how Posto uses cookies on getposto.com.

Essential cookies (no consent required)

These cookies are necessary for the website and operator dashboard to function. They cannot be switched off. They include:

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in to your operator account. Set by Supabase Auth. Expires at the end of your browser session or after 7 days, whichever comes first.
• Venue cookie (posto_current_venue_id) — remembers which venue you are currently managing in a multi-venue account.
• Cookie consent cookie — stores your cookie preference so we do not ask again.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

Posto does not currently use analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent before setting any analytics cookies.

Marketing cookies (consent required)

Posto does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

Some third-party services used by Posto may set their own cookies:

• Stripe — used for payment processing. Stripe may set cookies for fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.

We do not control third-party cookies. Please refer to each provider's cookie policy for details.

When you first visit Posto, you will see a cookie consent banner. You may:

• Accept — permits all cookie categories listed above (including any future analytics cookies).
• Decline — only essential cookies will be set. Your experience will not be affected.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent the operator dashboard from working correctly.

We will update this policy when we add new cookie types or change how we use existing ones. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be communicated via the cookie consent banner.
